Lauren Waite is a well known face in the performing arts world of the Macarthur region, having performed on their stages since she was 6 years of age. During this time, Lauren has won countless awards and most recently she was the 2011 winner of the Campbelltown Council Australia Day talent quest, a grand finalist at the 2011 Starquest and semi-finalist for the Contemporary Singer of the Year at the McDonald's Sydney Eisteddfod.
She has traveled overseas to New Zealand to represent her Mount Carmel High School's choir and has also performed with artists such as the The Getaway Plan and Tonight Alive with her local band, Suburban Lies.
In 2012, Lauren will be studying the Bachelor of Music at the Australian Institute of Music, majoring in contemporary performance and/or musical theatre.
Lauren has been privately and professionally trained in singing musical theatre and stage drama for the over 10 years.
With vast experience in local events such as Fishers Ghost, Ingleburn Alive, 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer, Australia Day celebrations, Riverfest and more along with numerous talent quests and eisteddfods around Sydney, she is well placed in a position to develop students in their vocal abilities whether it be for enjoyment or competition.
