S2S Graduates

Since opening our doors in 1994 S2S has now many of its students grow from tiny Pre-Schoolers into amazing young dancers. A number of our students have gone on to pursue careers in the performing arts industry and we would like to highlight their achievements below.

Briana Clifford

Briana Clifford My name is Briana Clifford, I danced at Steps 2 Stardom from 1995 at the age of 7, through to the age of 17. While I was there, not only did I receive great technical training but Steps also provided a fun learning environment and many great opportunities. Some of my best memories are from the International competitions we competed in. I went to Italy and New Zealand with Steps, both of which ended up being amazing holidays as well as having the opportunity to compete with children from other countries, which was a challenge that helped us all grow as dancers. During my time at Steps I also made some friendships that have lasted many many years and even though we have all moved on, we still remain the closest of friends. All of the above, along with spectacular teachers who really are interested in what is best for all of their students, are my greatest memories of Steps.

After Steps 2 Stardom I studied dance full time for one year, at ED5 International, with their performing arts course. This year of solid training gave me the opportunity to get my mind and body ready for the professional industry. With experienced industry professionals as teachers it gave me some real insight into what was to come. ED5 also allowed the chance for exposure to agencies which is useful when wanting to pursue a professional career.

Currently I am in Japan dancing for Tokyo Disneyland on an 8 month contract. I also did T.V comercials for Suntory and Bonds.

The entertainment industry is a tough industry and work is never guaranteed, but the people who make it are the ones who never stop trying, and dont give up even when things are really tough. Always do classes because there is always something new to learn. Be bold because when it comes to dancing there is little to lose but so much to gain and remember to appreciate it, because there are few people in the world that get to do what they love and get paid!! =)
