Brooke Hawkings

(Assistant Teacher in Acrobatics / Tumbling and Cheerleading)

Brooke started dancing at the Heather Ireland School of Dance at age 3 in tap, jazz ,ballet and eisteddfods. She then became a member of the Steps 2 Stardom Performing Arts Academy in 2004. Brooke has achieved honours in tap and highly commended in jazz and ballet exams for the last 10 years. She has been a regular student in the School’s acro and cheer classes since 2005.

Brooke is currently the captain of the Steps 2 Stardom competitive cheer team and competed successfully in 2008 where the team placed 3rd in the state in level 2 Cheer. She is also a member of the academy's selective Acro Performance Team and has been coaching the junior and intermediate boys and girls acro classes at S2S under the guidance of Miss Jodie for the past 3yrs.

Presently Brooke is undergoing her level 1 coaching accreditation course with gymnastics NSW in tumbling and cheerleading, enabling her to enhance her teaching skills and continue to be a wonderful asset to the S2S acro and cheer staff.
